Citation Manager: RefWorks

RefWorks

RefWorks is a web-based citation manager and bibliography builder. You can annotate, organize, and cite your research as well as collaborate with friends and colleagues by sharing collections.

RefWorks is a useful tool if you use different computers for your work and need a cloud-based citation manager. If you are looking for a different citation manager, the library also supports Zotero

Seattle University maintains institutional accounts for anyone at Seattle University. There are two versions of RefWorks: "new" RefWorks and "legacy" RefWorks. This guide covers the new RefWorks, which will be referred to as just RefWorks, and it is recommended that if you are new to RefWorks you start with this version. If you are interested in legacy RefWorks you can find more information on the Legacy RefWorks guide

Alum Access

You will be able to access your RefWorks account after graduation. Before graduation, you should update you RefWorks account by selecting the "Alumni" option from the Profile/Role section of the settings page, and update your email if necessary.
