Library Resources for Instructors

Resources and tips for incorporating the Library into your course

Welcome

This is a guide to help Seattle University Faculty integrate Library resources into instruction.

Updates for Fall 2021

Our options for service delivery for Fall 2021 will depend on campus guidelines and public health recommendations - we will update this space as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, please contact us if you wish to include library or information literacy content in your course and we can work together to determine how best to meet your objectives.

Updates for Summer 2021

In order to best prepare for different possible scenarios, and to provide consistent support for students both on and off campus, we will continue to provide library instruction and research help virtually for Spring quarter and Summer sessions.

We are focusing on a flipped classroom approach, in which we're providing more asynchronous materials and using shorter Zoom class visits to focus on live research help, active learning activities, and brief overviews of library resources to reinforce asynchronous instruction.
