On Monday, December 19, 2022, the Library’s access to SciFinder Scholar will fully transition to SciFinder ⁿ. SciFinderⁿ has the same content as SciFinder, but with a new streamlined interface. Some highlights of this new interface include:
The ability to combine keyword and structure searching
The ability to search across the substance, reaction, and references simultaneously
Relevance sorting of reference results
Updated workflows (e.g., live search history, auto-suggested search queries, the ability to run simultaneous search sessions in multiple browser tabs)
Sequence searching (BLAST, CDR, Motif)
If you already have a SciFinder account, your login will not change, and you don’t have to do anything different to access SciFinderⁿ. If you have never used SciFinder before, you will need to register for an account.
If you have any questions about SciFinderⁿ, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Lydia Bello, Science and Engineering Librarian at bellolydia@seattleu.edu or ask a librarian at askalibrarian@seattleu.edu!
