The Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons seeks a Library Technician 3 - Technology Access and Affordability, to support the activities of the Access Services department, the library’s evolving technology access and affordability lending program, and the library’s patrons in their use of library technology. The Technology Access and Affordability Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the technology access and affordability lending program; maintenance and support of the technology lending inventory; and contributing to planning and development of future technology lending activities.

Working from the Circulation and Technology Support service desks, the person in this position will lend (and assist students with the use of) library technology; perform simple to complex Library Access Services functions; answer questions about Lemieux Library policies, procedures, services, and the location and use of resources; assist in the organization and maintenance of the Library’s collections and group study rooms; and participate in unit and Library planning, including attending meetings, serving on committees, participating in training and/or workshops, and collaborating on Access Services and/or Library projects and initiatives. 

The person in this role must provide high-quality, user-centered service to all Seattle University students, faculty, staff, and members of the public, supporting the Library's commitment to centering and enhancing the student experience, and prioritizing affirmation and allyship with our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) campus community in alignment with the principles of LIFT SU.
