Hello, I’m Dean Sarah Barbara Watstein, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons at Seattle University.

Our mission here is to meet your information needs––but even more so, to create an environment of discovery and belonging. I hope you find this space suits your needs both academically and personally during your time here!

The library is the crossroads of knowledge at Seattle University – at the center of teaching, learning, and research. We offer a wide range of resources, services, expertise, technology, and spaces.

Most importantly, we offer an unwavering commitment to support our students –– you, on your academic journey. Every student has a unique story, goal, and triumphs––every one different. You will be challenged. And we want you to know the library and its dedicated staff exists to support you through all of this.

I hope to see you here soon!

–– Sarah Barbara Watstein, Dean, Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons
