The Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning commons is excited to announce that the Billodue Makerspace is open and ready to welcome the campus community! The Billodue Makerspace is a welcoming space for all students, including those who have never used a makerspace before.

Supporting multidisciplinary learning and creativity across all aspects of the university, the space allows students from to come together to collaborate, design, fabricate, and learn in shared spaces. Because the Billodue Makerspace is open to all members of the university, it serves an important role as an inclusive location for individuals with diverse backgrounds to meet and work together.

Hours and Activities

Phased opening of the Billodue Makerspace is planned contingent on staffing and safety.

Initially, the Billodue Makerspace will be open from weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Once we expand our team of Student Creators we look forward to being open from noon to midnight, Monday through Saturday.

Members of the campus community can drop by, take tours to learn about the space, make things at demonstration stations, and participate in workshops for many of the core making technologies.

Online resources and registration for activities are coming soon! During the first phase of opening please stop by the Billodue Makerspace to check the schedule and sign up for activities.
