Learning Assistance Programs

Consistent with the University's move to remote instruction, the Library and Learning Commons building is closed and Learning Assistance Programs will be offering our usual services remotely as well.  We look forward to supporting you in your academic success this quarter and encourage you to reach out to us so we can connect you with our services. Writing Center

The Writing Center is maintaining its hours and availability.  We are available online through both asynchronous and synchronous consultations.  For more information about the peer writing consultation and which type to select, please review our online consultation page.

Math Lab

The Math Lab is now closed until fall quarter. Please check back in September!

The Math Lab is a service provided by the Mathematics Department for all students in lower division math courses (up through MATH 2330, and including UCOR 1200 classes) at Seattle University. The Lab is meant to augment the assistance given by the instructor of the course and to provide help at times when the instructor is not available. Research Services

Online Research Help:

  • 24/7 Chat Service -- Library and research help via online chat are available 24/7!  This service is staffed by Seattle University Librarians but at peak service times or off-hours you may be chatting with a librarian from another academic library.
  • Virtual Research Consultations -- Research Services librarians are available for virtual appointments over Zoom.  Please fill out the linked form, and we will contact you within 1-2 business days to set up a virtual appointment.

Media Production Center

To support public health efforts in addressing COVID-19 and promote social-distancing, the Media Production Center will continue to support student media-related projects using online learning tools. To allows us to respond to your needs with via email, telephone, or Zoom (with screen share), please give us some information about your project.

Please note that the MPC facility and equipment are not currently available. Assistance with software, hardware, and equipment not normally supported by the MPC may be limited or not supported.
