Lemieux's List: Prioritizing Wellness

During times like these it can be a challenge managing stress, finding work-life balance, and staying motivated. Life has gotten busier, routines have changed, and deadlines are approaching making it more important than ever to check in with yourself and ask, "what am I doing to replenish my mental and creative resources?"

In this segment of Lemieux's List, we asked Lemieux Library and McGolderick Learning Commons faculty and staff this very question.

What is Self Care?

"I always hear a lot about the term 'self care' but I'm never sure of its meaning and how I can implement practices in my own life. Hopefully by looking at the history of the term and the term as a concept can help others to gain a new perspective."
