I’m a fourth-year studying Public Affairs, Philosophy, and Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies; I am also a member of the Society, Policy, and Citizenship honors cohort. Currently, I’m working on an honors research thesis focusing on the social construction of the human/animal binary and the ways it is deployed to reinforce structures of power among humans. Hi, my name is Sofiya, and I'm a first-year Graduate Student majoring in Business Analytics. I recently finished my Bachelor's degree in Marketing at SU as well. I use she/her pronounce and am originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan (Russian is my native language!) Fun fact: I love reading in general and happened to be a part of Potteriana's generation. To this day, I still enjoy re-reading all the books in the series - for instance, I've read the Deathly Hallows book around 12 times.
