How do I find scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles?

EBSCOhost and ProQuest, two of the library's more popular database vendors, provide simple ways for limiting a search to scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles. Here are directions for each:

EBSCOhost

First, perform a search on your topic. One following page with the search results, there are various options to refine a search using the limiters on the left side of the page. Select the option Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals.

ProQuest

Before performing a search on a topic you can refine your results by selecting the Peer Reviewed option under the search boxes.
