Card Access: Swipe to Study

This guide outlines the library's policy regarding building access after 8 pm.

Alumni, Guests, Visitors

Alumni, guest borrowers, and campus visitors without a valid SU Campus Card are welcome to visit Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons Sunday - Thursday before 8pm, and all day Fridays and Saturdays. Access to the Library after 8pm is exclusive to current SU students, faculty, and staff with a valid SU Campus Card.

A valid SU Campus Card is an ID card issued to currently enrolled students, and currently employed faculty and staff. These cards are programmed by ITS to provide current students, faculty, and staff access to campus buildings and services.

SU Campus Cards possessed by former students (including Alumni) and faculty (including Emeritus) can by used for borrowing items from the Library, but cannot be used for access after 8pm.

Guest borrowers include Emeritus faculty, Summit Visiting Patrons, and Lemieux Sponsored Guests. Detailed information about guest borrowing privileges can be found on our borrowing guide.

Contact the Manager of Circulation with questions or to make a request to visit after 8pm at fullwils@seattleu.edu or (206) 296-6234.
