Card Access: Swipe to Study

This guide outlines the library's policy regarding building access after 6 pm.

Overview

Effective Sept 20th 2021, In line with the University's expanding in person classes and services, the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learnings Commons will be relaxing swipe to study access and allowing Guest borrowing and usage of the study spaces in the building.  late-evening and weekend access will continue be reserved exclusively for current SU students, faculty, and staff with a valid SU Campus Card.

At 6pm Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, outer doors to the building will lock, and students, faculty and staff will need to swipe a valid SU Campus Card in order to enter. This policy will not impact the 24/7 spaces.

Building and all service hours for Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons will stay the same.
