Financial Assistance

Office of the Dean of Students
Seattle University's Dean of Students oversees a variety of funds and programs that assist students experiencing temporary hardship. Contact this office to discuss your situation so they can connect you to campus resources that can help.

Textbook Assistance

McGoldrick Lending Library
A textbook lending program for graduate students coordinated by the McGoldrick Collegium.

Food Assistance

Seattle U Food Pantry
The Seattle U Food Pantry provides free, supplementary food to students, staff, and faculty with a current SU ID, who may access the pantry once per week.
Emergency Redhawk Dining Cards
Emergency Redhawk Dining Cards provide temporary food assistance for students while they recover from unexpected financial hardship and find longer-term solutions for their financial circumstances.
Outreach Eats

Byrd Barr Place’s Food Bank
Located near Seattle University, this food bank is open three days per week to Seattle residents in need. Available items include produce, grocery items, toiletries and household supplies.
Bread of Life Mission
Pioneer Square mission offering lunch on weekdays, as well as clothing distribution, emergency overnight shelter, and other assistance.
