Industry ratios provide a way to compare and analyze the correlation of diverse financial data for an entire industry. They can be used to compare the performance of a company to the industry overall.
1) Use the industry box for your search. Within the results select the appropriate industry. Look for RMA Industry Norms in the menu.
2) Search for the company profile and on the snapshot page scroll down to the industry section. Click on the industry link next to NAICS 2012. Look for RMA Industry Norms in the menu.
3) Search for the company profile. On the left side of the page select Ratio Comparisons.
Provides industry reports for hundreds of U.S. NAICS-classified industries at the 5-digit level, including specialized industries. Reports include key statistics and analysis on market characteristics, operating condition, current and historical performance, a 5-year forecast, major industry participants, and more.
