SUFF ‘23: the Seattle University Film Festival

SUFF 23 film stripAfter taking a little rest during the pandemic––SUFF is back! Whether you are planning to submit work or just want to watch movies, this is going to be a lot of fun! This student run film festival is open to all skill levels and all students at Seattle University. Announcement of prizes and fun details coming soon.  
 

Put SUFF on your calendar so you don’t forget! You can RSVP at the link below. Registration is encouraged, but not required. The event is free to attend and free to submit.

SU Filmmaker's Club Media Production Center Lemieux Library

Submission Details 

  • The submission deadline is 5pm on April 13th 

  • All SU students are welcome to submit (and attend of course) 

  • No experience needed 

  • Keep film length to <6 min 

  • Submitter must be Director, Writer, or Principal Photographer AND an SU student (no work created before 2021, please) 

  • No genre requirement so all are welcome (Comedy, Drama, Documentary, Instructional, Public Service Announcement, etc.) 

  • Any and all methods of filmmaking are welcomed––this includes cell phones, laptop computers, webcams, DSLR cameras, video cameras, and cine cameras. 

  • Bring submissions to the Media Production Center located on floor 1 of the Seattle University Library
