Online Renewal of Materials:
Renew your Lemieux Library books & media online by logging into your SU Library Account. Your active loans are displayed on the Loans section. Look for the title you need to renew and click renew. You can also renew all your active loans by selecting Renew All.
Summit books and Summit media cannot be renewed.
Renewal of InterLibrary Loan materials will depend on the policies of the loaning library.
While the library is closed, the external book drops are also closed until further notice. For now, please hold all checked-out materials until the library reopens. We will not accept book returns via mail, or through any other means. Until the Library reopens, if your item is eligible for renewal, please do so through your Primo account (primo.seattleu.edu).
UPDATE 8/28/2020: Unfortunately, we cannot make international calls. Patrons calling from international numbers must call Patron Accounts Technician (206-398-4449) during their appointment time.
UPDATE 6/23/2020: If you need to pay an accrued fine, replacement charge or other fee, the Lemieux Library now offers remote credit card payments through the Converge Payment System. Unlike a traditional online payment system this process is done via booking and over the phone. Here are the steps you will need to follow to use this system:
UPDATE 3/19/2020: In response to Seattle University’s move to remote instruction through Spring Quarter and the Library’s temporary closure we have adjusted our policy on overdue items. You may renew your local items online.
Summit Items: If you are away from campus and unable to return your SUMMIT items, please do not worry. We will waive any accrued fines once the items are returned. Please return materials by the end of Spring Quarter (June 13th, 2020).
Interlibrary Loan Items: If you are away from campus and unable to return your Interlibrary Loan please go to your ILLiad account (LINK) and request a renewal. If the renewal is approved, ILL staff will update your record with no fines. If the renewal request is denied, please return the items by the end of Spring Quarter (June 13th, 2020) and staff will waive any fines for overdue items.
Lemieux Library items: Please try to renew items online. If you are unable to do so or have no renewals left, please email email@example.com to request a renewal for your items.
Items not returned by the end of Spring Quarter (June 13th, 2020) will be considered lost and you will be responsible for any accruing fines and fees.
